IF I SHOULD START A PROSPERITY CHALLENGE. I've always really wanted to; I think they're rather underrated and could be a lot of fun. It would showcase my literary style a lot more (I am an aspiring writer, after all) in a fun hobbyish way. Prosperity challenges do seem more conducive to storywriting than legacies do.|
My main concern is that it'd become too much. Maybe one week I'll focus on prosperity, another on legacy? I actually have a life lately, so time is of the essence way more than it was in the past. Which is the main reason why I quit my old legacies to start afresh. They had too much attachment to a drastically different part of my life, and it was overwhelming me for months thinking about when/how I would update them all again.
Maybe, if anything, I will just keep it as a for-fun thing when I don't feel like playing my legacy family and not worry about posting it. I don't know, though! The thought of making up a story and posting it to LJ is ~enticing~.
I guess I'll just sit on it for now. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? Would you give a Prosperity challenge posted by me a chance? Or in general would you give Prosperity challenges a chance at all? Is there a reason why they are less popular?!? Most of the ones I've seen posted are just too serious-face for my type, which is why I haven't read many. Mine might be a bit serious, but always with a sense of humor embedded in there somewhere—I can't handle things when they take themselves too seriously.
